Herbivorous is all about exciting, modern vegan comfort food that’s better for you and better for the planet. Originally inspired by the American vegan food explosion, Damian and Robyn developed their unique style of cooking while touring UK food festivals and then settled down just across the pennines in Manchester. Spark is their first location in York. Their menu is full of original recipes, including harissa corn ribs and mushroom cheesesteak fries. Gluten-free options also available.

As announced by Herbivorous, the owners have made the difficult decision to close all of their stores. As such, the last day for the Spark York store will be Saturday 19th April. The whole of the SPARK York team wishes the Herbivorous team the best of luck.
